"Zembo focuses on 2 complementary activities:

- the leasing (rent to own) of electric motorcycles to taxi drivers in Uganda

- the battery charge through a network of solar stations and a principle of battery swap: driver swap their discharged battery against a recharged battery in our solar stations. Zembo remains the owner of the battery, drivers pay only for energy and battery amortization.

Both activities are secured by our Pay-As-You-Go (PayGo) technology: if the driver doesn’t pay, the motorcycles doesn't start.

After the ongoing pilot in Uganda where we drove already the distance from Kampala to Berlin (>18 000 km), our objective is to reach 200 vehicles in 2019 and 2000 in 2020."
