Speaker Registration

Registering for the 24th World Energy Congress couldn’t be easier!

Thank you again for agreeing to speak at the 24th World Energy Congress. Please ensure that you complete your registration, following the steps below. Registration is free for our esteemed speakers – you will, however, be required to cover the cost of travel to and from Abu Dhabi, as well as your accommodation during your stay here.

To maintain a high calibre of speakers, you will be required to upload a short biography and complete your academic credentials during the registration process.

Step 1: Complete all the fields on the registration form

Please note that fields marked * are mandatory. You will also be asked to upload relevant documentation, according to your registration category. This is also where you will be required to upload your Photo ID and passport.

Photo ID Specifications

PHOTO SIZE

• Photo must be 45 mm high by 35mm wide

• Photo should not be a cut down version of a larger picture

PHOTO QUALITY

• The photo should be taken within the last six months

• The photo should be colour, on plain white or light grey background

• The photo should be in clear and in focus

• The photo should be unaltered by computer software

PHOTO SETTING

• The photo should be a close-up of your full head and upper shoulders

• The subject should be facing forward and looking straight at the camera

• Eyes should be open, not covered by hair and free from reflection or glare from glasses

• Wearing of glasses is acceptable as long as eyes are shown fully in clear lenses without glare or reflections

• Ears should be shown on the submitted photo for non-Muslim applicants

Step 3: Choose your accommodation and flights

Congress speakers are entitled to an exclusive discount of up to 15% on any Etihad Airways Economy and Business Class flights and up to 30% on Etihad Airways Business Class flights originating from the USA. These discounts are only applicable on direct flights on the Etihad Airways network and does not include internal flights.  

If you do not wish to book your flights or accommodation at this stage, you can move on and always come back at a later stage! Just do not leave it too late as otherwise, your choice of accommodation or flight may not be available!

Step 4: Confirmation

You will be able to see a summary and breakdown of your overall registration and booking, your unique registration number (URN) which must be kept safe for any future enquiries, plus a total price. This confirmation will also be emailed to your registered email address.

 Once registered and upon receipt of your URN, you will be able to return to your registration booking at any time and amend your details. Please see terms and conditions for any substitutions or cancelations.

Step 2: Accompanying Partners

Choose whether you wish to bring your partner/spouse along with you and take part in the Accompanying Partners Programme.
